Overview of Argus monitoring capabilities.

Argus provides comprehensive infrastructure monitoring out of the box. Once the SDK is installed, metrics are automatically collected and sent to the platform.

What Argus Monitors

  • System Metrics — CPU, memory, disk, network, load averages
  • Docker Containers — Container status, resource usage, image info
  • Process Tracking — Top processes by CPU/memory, process lifecycle events
  • Custom Metrics — Any metric you send via the SDK

Data Flow

  1. The Argus SDK runs on your servers
  2. Metrics are collected at configurable intervals (default: 60s)
  3. Data is sent to the Argus platform via the ingest API
  4. Metrics are stored, analyzed, and visualized in real time
